About Welepix

What is Welepix?

Welepix is a professional platform for photographers that allows uploading photos, creating galleries, and sharing with clients through secure links. The platform has two separate products: Gallery (for client work) and Storage (for long-term archiving).

What is the difference between Gallery and Storage?

Gallery is an active workspace. You upload photos, send a link to the client, the client selects their favourites, and you free up space for the next project. It's a workflow tool, not an archive.

Storage is a long-term photo archive. Files are stored safely and long-term, with a folder structure. Ideal for keeping old photo sessions, archives and backups.

Do I need both products?

Not necessarily. You can use only Gallery (for client work), only Storage (for archiving), or both together. Each product has a separate subscription.

Gallery

How does Gallery work?

Gallery is an active workspace for photographers. A typical workflow:

  1. Upload your photo session
  2. Create a share link with a PIN code
  3. Client browses and selects their favourites
  4. Deliver the final result
  5. Free up space and use it for the next project
What does the GB number mean in Gallery plans?

It's your active workspace capacity — how much data you can have at any given time. It's not total storage. After delivering photos to a client, you free up the space and reuse it.

Are there file transfer limits?

Gallery is designed for active client work — upload, share, deliver. A fair use policy applies to ensure stable service for all users.

How do clients select photos?

You create a share link and send it to the client. The client opens it in a browser, browses the photos and marks their favourites. You see the selected files instantly in your dashboard.

Can I protect a gallery with a password?

Yes. Each share link can have a PIN code and an expiry date. Once expired, the link stops working automatically.

What gallery types are available?

Welepix offers three gallery display types: masonry, mosaic, and grid. You can also add a logo and author name.

Storage

How does Storage work?

Storage is a long-term photo archive. Upload files, organise them into folders and subfolders, and they're stored safely for as long as you need.

What does "min. 90-day retention period" mean?

Uploaded files are kept for at least 90 days. During this period, files cannot be deleted. This ensures data safety and stable service pricing. After 90 days, you can delete files freely.

Can I expand Storage capacity?

Yes. With the Seifas 1TB plan, you can add 250GB as many times as needed — no upper limit. Each additional 250GB block has its own monthly price.

Plans & Billing

Can I change my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade anytime — you only pay the difference for the remaining days. You can downgrade once per month. After a downgrade, upgrades are available after 24 hours.

What are the plan change rules?

Plan changes follow these rules:

  • After purchase — downgrade available after 30 days
  • After downgrade — next downgrade available after 30 days
  • After downgrade — upgrade available after 24 hours
  • Upgrade — available anytime (unless downgraded in the last 24 hours)
How is billing calculated when changing plans?

When upgrading, you pay the proportional difference for the remaining days of the month. When downgrading, leftover credit is carried forward — your new plan is extended by additional days.

Are refunds available?

Welepix provides digital services that begin immediately. No refunds are issued for subscription periods that have already begun. When downgrading, leftover credit is used to extend the new plan.

Are there long-term commitments?

No. All plans are monthly with no commitments. You can change or cancel your plan at any time.

Security & Infrastructure

How are my files stored?

All files are stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure with replication across multiple data centres. Both Gallery and Storage use the same reliable infrastructure.

What happens if I stop paying my subscription?

After your subscription expires, your files are kept for 30 days. During this period, you can renew and continue working. After 30 days, files may be removed.
